Project Spotlights

2021

Implemented a sonic leak detection survey for our compressed air at CCI as part of our preventative maintenance. Estimated annual savings ~$60,000 per year.

2022

Installed a reverse osmosis water purification system for boiler feedwater. Estimated 4% energy, 11% water, and 43% chemical annual reductions. Estimated total ~$50,000 annual savings.

As part of our better plants goals, we’ve seen a 23.64% reduction in energy intensity since 2016. Very close to the goal of 25%, and way ahead of schedule!
Social Sustainability
Safety
We now use ISNetworld to vet our contractors for safety. ISN allows us to view contractors’ safety statistics, including Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) compliance, Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), fatalities, OSHA citations, and more. This way, we can ensure our contractors have safety records well within our requirements.
