SugarCreek Wellness (SCW) launched on August 1, 2022. Our mission is to provide associates with the tools and resources that will enable them to be successful in meeting their personal health and wellness goals. We have a team of 16 Wellness Champions across all facilities that are trained on HIPPA and Privacy Law, are Mental Health First Aid Certified, and have knowledge about all of the various support avenues SugarCreek has to offer. We support the whole associate: Physical, Mental, Financial, and Social Well-being are all priorities for SugarCreek Wellness. Our vision is building healthier lives and culture together by integrating comprehensive programs that aid associates and their families in meeting their health needs and reaching their well-being goals.
SCW was the winner of the North American Meat Institute’s Corporate Wellness Award for 2022, which recognizes organizations that make an internal commitment to healthy lifestyle programs.
SugarCreek offers opportunities for Spring and Summer Internships. Each intern will act as an effective member of a designated department that will perform regulatory tasks and work on innovative projects. Throughout the program, interns will focus on real work that impacts themselves and Sugarcreek directly.
